The following shisha pipes are available for our shisha delivery London service:
Traditional Shisha Pipes: these are traditional Egyptian shisha pipes with ornate arabesque inscriptions and a hand-painted vase. A traditional shisha pipe will come with a prepacked tobacco bowl, hygienic mouth tips, coals (natural or quick light depending on your preference) and everything else that you may require to run a shisha pipe. Our shisha tobacco range comes in many different brands and flavours such as Starbuzz, Al Fakher, Argelini, Tangiers, Nakhla, Blue Moon (Eastern Ray tobacco). If you are unsure about what flavours you would like to choose, you can leave it up to us and we will select some of the more popular flavours that have gained general acceptance by our clients. If you are feeling more daring, we can create more exotic flavours.
Traditional shisha pipe with a fruit bowl: our previous clients who regularly use our shisha hire London service find traditional shisha pipe with a fruit bowl to be a very exotic and exciting twist to their shisha experience and are always experimenting with different tobacco mixes and fruits. We usually make our fruit bowls from melons, pineapples and grapefruits because we can pack more tobacco into these fruit bowls and put more coals on top, which can be extremely difficult when customers requests a kiwi for example. Please don’t order a kiwi! When choosing what fruit bowl to go for, it is important to consider the composition of different fruits. Grapefruits are citrus based and very juicy, whereas melons are more watery and sweet. With this in mind, try to think about what tobacco combinations would work with which fruit. For instance, banana would not work very well in a grapefruit, whereas chocolate would not taste too great in a melon. What makes fruit shisha so perfect is the fact that juices from the fruit marinate the tobacco flavours to produce a mature, refined and fragrant flavour combinations, which are usually lacking in traditional shisha. Fruit shisha pipes are more expensive than traditional shisha pipes because they require more tobacco and coals to power them to produce enough smoke.
Electronic shisha pipes: we are sure that you have no doubt heard about the sudden growth of vaping over the last few years. This means that you can enjoy your shisha pipe in an entirely new form. You will either love or hate the electronic shisha pipes. We find that our clients are either devoted to traditional tobacco or electronic shisha pipes. The difference between an electronic shisha pipe and a traditional shisha pipe is that an electronic shisha pipe produces flavoured vapour that has a very distinctive taste and chemical disposition, whereas tobacco smoke is richer and more pronounced owing to the natural qualities of the tobacco leaf. Our electronic shisha heads come with tanks pre-filled with premium, high vg elequid in many exciting flavours. High vg or vegetable glycerine composition helps to ensure that an electronic shisha pipe produces large vape clouds to better emulate the shisha smoking experience. An added benefit of using electronic shisha pipes is that they can be used in public as technically and legally, vaping is not smoking as it does not involve the combustion of tobacco. Interestingly, we saw some vapers vaping their electronic cigarette mods (sub-ohming) on a tube in Canary Wharf and they were not told to desist. If your premises do not allow smoking then choosing an electronic shisha pipe delivery service in London may just save you the night. Electronic shisha pipes use eliquid which is made up of vegetable glycerine, propylene glycol, nicotine and flavours. Vg is responsible for the cloud production and pg is a flavour carrier, the actual flavourings give the actual flavour and nicotine is responsible for the classic throat kick and a nicotine rush. The actual electronic shisha head operates using the same principle as an electronic cigarette mod with the only exception that the vapour is filtered through water (or whatever else you like to have in the vase).
Extras: there are some great extras that could help you to enhance your shisha experience such as ice hoses, alcohol and cocktail mixes in the vase as well as snacks and beverages.

History of Shisha
Mystical, exotic and shrouded in the storied history of ancient Mughal emperors the art of smoking flavoured molasses through a hookah pipe goes back many centuries and includes a fascinating trek from India across the Middle East and Saharan desert to Europe, the Americas and South East Asia. While there are many fables and folklore tales regarding the origin of hookah or shisha molasses many experts agree that the practice of smoking flavoured tobacco through a water pipe started in India sometime during the reign of Mughal emperor Akbar (1542-1605 A.D.). It is believed that shisha was invented by a physician, Hakim Abul-Fath Gilani who first passed the smoke of tobacco through a small bowl of water to purify and cool the smoke. The first shisha was very simple in design and was made from a coconut base and a straw.
Shisha was then introduced to the Persian Kingdom. The hookah acquired tombeik on its way through Persia. Tombeik is a dark tobacco grown in modern day Iran. Tombeik is rinsed and packed in the large older style heads where hot coal is applied directly to the wet tombeik, which gives it a strong flavour. When the hookah arrived into Turkey about five hundred years ago, it endured a surge of popularity among the upper class and intellectuals which resulted in a transformation of its design. The hookah grew in size and complexity as brass and glass as well as intricate decorations and mosaics were added to enhance the beauty and elegance of shishas. Shisha popularity grew to the point where coffee shops began to serve shisha along with their coffees. Hookah smoking migrated south into the Arab world from Turkey to Lebanon and Syria where it got the name argile. It then spread into Egypt and Morocco, where it is known as shisha. It is also known as the hubble bubble in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Today, hookah bars are social places where many people get together to discuss politics and local events.
It is believed that the reason for the widespread use of the word “hookah” in English language is a result of the British Raj (British dominion of India, 1858-1947) when large numbers of expatriate Britons first tried the water pipe. Shortly after arriving in Kolkatta, India in 1775, William Hickey wrote in his Memoirs:
“The most highly-dressed and splendid hookah was prepared for me. I tried it, but did not like it. As after several trials I still found it disagreeable, I with much gravity requested to know whether it was indispensably necessary that I should become a smoker, which was answered with equal gravity, “Undoubtedly it is, for you might as well be out of the world as out of the fashion. Here everybody uses a hookah, and it is impossible to get on without …[I] have frequently heard men declare they would much rather be deprived of their dinner than their hookah.”
One of the most famous accounts of shisha in history was presented in 1865 in Lewis Carroll’s, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
“The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the water pipe out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice ‘Who are YOU?’ said the Caterpillar.”
The shisha pipe sits well in Alice’s newly discovered world filled with perplexity and the unknown. The caterpillar experiments with the shisha to portray new colours, shapes and letters. The ability to express one’s creativity through smoke, such as by blowing smoke rings, gives the shisha its today’s popularity.
